About this policy
This policy explains how Marvin (“Marvin”, “we”, “us”) handles information through the Marvin interface and services we control. Independent wallets, public blockchains and linked services have their own policies. The Terms of Service also apply to your use of Marvin.
You can browse public pages without connecting a wallet. Marvin does not ask you to provide a private key or recovery phrase.
Information involved
- Wallet and activity. When you connect a supported wallet, it provides the account address and network. Features may process public balances, token holdings, transactions, quotes and operation status associated with that address.
- Token content. Names, descriptions, artwork, social links, payout addresses and other details you choose to enter or submit.
- Requests and diagnostics. Our hosting and service providers may receive your IP address, browser information, requested resource and request time when serving pages, images or API requests.
- Communications. If you contact us, we receive your contact details and the information you include.
A wallet address is pseudonymous, not necessarily anonymous. Public activity or information you publish may link it to an identifiable person.
Why information is used
We use information to display token markets and profiles, provide the features you request, prepare and recover operations, process token metadata, remember preferences, diagnose failures, prevent abuse and respond to messages or legal obligations.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing relies on providing requested services, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where required. If we request consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier processing.
What stays in your browser
Marvin remembers your appearance preference, entered token details and artwork, profiles and transaction-recovery information in your browser. Recovery records help prevent duplicate submissions.
Reviewing token details sends them to the verification service. Verification does not publish them.
Clearing site data removes these local records. It does not cancel transactions or remove published information. Wallets and infrastructure providers maintain their own storage.
What becomes public
Public blockchain activity—including addresses, transfers, contract calls and launch commitments—can be read by anyone and may remain available indefinitely. Marvin cannot edit or delete confirmed blockchain records.
Published token metadata and artwork are intended to be public and associated with the token and its creator. Other people and services may copy or retain them. Do not put confidential or sensitive personal information in token names, descriptions, artwork or social links.
Metadata becomes public after publication completes. Verification or acceptance of a publication request alone does not publish it.
Retention and security
Local browser records remain until you remove them or the relevant feature replaces or clears them. Information held in our systems is retained as needed to operate the feature, recover operations, handle security incidents and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Published metadata and public blockchain records may persist for much longer.
No internet service can guarantee complete security. Avoid sending secrets in support requests and protect access to your browser and wallet. Providers may process information outside your country; applicable data-protection requirements continue to apply to information under our control.
Your choices and contact
You can browse without connecting a wallet, revoke site access through your wallet, clear browser storage and choose what you submit. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of personal information held by us, object to or restrict certain processing, or complain to a relevant data-protection authority.
Contact legal@corp.inc for privacy requests involving Marvin. Include enough information to locate the relevant records, but never include wallet secrets. We may need to verify your authority. Requests cannot remove public blockchain records or copies held independently by others.
Marvin is intended for adults. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information. We may update this policy as the service changes; the date above identifies the current version.
